My 14" x 18" coloured print, 28546, is entitled: Sweet Rose of Araby and said to be from a painting by Pressler. The printer's name is something like "Fonto-graph" - cannot read it very well. It is from the Denver, Colorado area, probably was purchased in a second-hand shop about 50 years ago, and appears to be in the original frame. I would appreciate any information about it. Thank you.

I did find that a copy of it is available on eBay. There appears to be two, separate prints. I also did find some biographical information about Gene Pressler on the following link. http://www.askart.com/askart/p/gene_pressler/gene_pressler.aspx

Below, is a quote from the above, referenced site.

An illustrator who worked in New York at the early part of the 20th century, Gene Pressler worked in an Art Deco style that was prevalent at that time. It is thought that he worked for the Pompeian Company who made calendars and women's cosmetics.
