is this just more New Age Spiritualism or is it more of an explanation of a science and spiritual connection?

I wanted some opinions before I get into checking in to this. I have read a little.

When we all realize that our human brains are just receivers for the Ultimate, Universal Consciousness, then we will come into harmony with the true nature of ourselves and that of our earth and universe.
Nothing new age about it. GOD is spirit and we are an aspect of that spirit in physical form. We have been lead away from that Ultimate truth through false religions that pit us against each other and perpetuate wars, lack and disease. It is simply another form of control.
If we realized our true nature today and tapped into that vital force that is our one true power, No other negative, man made power structure would have any control over the masses or the world.

The underlying vital force that binds the planets, stars and universes together is unobtrusive yet it holds the power of all creation.

Truth always trumps the lie.

There are of course differences in what one calls "new age" what we called it 20 years ago may not be the same as today.
In attempts to deny the true meaning of God and find the answer in mans mind or in the teaching of man is nothing new, it is merely a foolish attempt to justify the desires of man and to establish a different faith than that of the one true God. No nothing new, just a new face doing it.

But from what I have read that doesn't seem the case.
I say what you said about the traditional churches--man attempting to reach God in his own vanity. I am looking for something that has an answer to connecting spirit with God in an attempt to find the true meaning of God and not in mind but in spirit.
