Hey, I am 17 and I got a problem with my ex.
Just before Christmas my ex girlfriend split up with me and said that there might be another chance of getting back together in about a year or two, because she wanted to get to know me a little better first.

The problem is I have found someone who likes me at the moment and that I am dating. My ex has found out that I have found someone else and does not seem to be very happy with it. I have asked her mates what's wrong? And they have all said that she still loves me. I still love her as well, but I am with someone else right now.
I don't know what to do because she won't even talk to me, or look at me.

My ex, I loved loads, a lot more than this girl I am with now, I can't seem to find the love like I did when I was with my ex. I don't want to really go and break up with the girl that I am seeing right now because she really likes me and I do like her, just not as much as my ex.

Does anybody have any suggestions what I can do? Because to be honest I feel as though I am sitting on the fence right now.

To me, it sounds like she's not emotionally mature enough to know what she wants... or else it's a case of she doesn't want to be with you, but she doesn't want you to be with anyone else, either. I don't understand the whole idea of breaking up and telling you that there might be a chance of getting back together in a year or two. Sounds to me like she wants to see if she can find someone better, but still keep you on a string as a fallback plan just in case. I say, move on with your life and forget about her. If the two of you are meant to be, then it will happen down the road... if not, it won't.

It's typical teenage girl stuff. She doesn't want to be with you but she wants you to want to be with her and no one else. Get back with her and she will dump you just to 'feel' the power! Forget her, she has some growing up to do. Give the new girl a chance. And remember love dosen't drop through the letterbox, you have to wait for delivery.
