Hi my dog sammy is 9 years old. Normally this dog eats everything if he is allowed to. His normal routine is to get up in the morning, go out to do his business and comes back to have a treat. The he has his insulin shot and two pieces of cheese. He loves his cheese and practically will jump you for it. (We feed him this and he usually doesn't eat again until dinner except for treats when he does his business.)

Today he won't eat. He refused his treats and the cheese. Im not sure if I am to worry or not because this dog without fail would eat no matter what the time was and whatever it was.

Also he is blind and its not like things are different then any other day. He is devoted to my mother and she has been there the whole time. His routine hasn't changed.

He is a Australian Fox Terrier by the way

Dantya, when you have a dog that has a disease such as yours does, and he suddenly changes his eating or potty habits, you need to contact your vet. I don't like to guess what is going on. Without being able to examine him, no one on line will be able to give you an absolute answer. Please contact your vet if you haven't done so already and your dog is still not eating. It may be that your dog's sugar levels are out of whack, his insulin needs to be adjusted, you need to feed him a few small meals throughout the day to keep his sugar levels normal, or any number of other things.
