I started the microgynon pill just over a month ago, I took 21 pills and it was time for my 7 day break. I took the last pill on the Saturday. I didn't have a pill on Sunday or Monday and by Tuesday morning I still hadn't had a period, I was going away the following weekend and did not want to be on, so I took the other pills and continue, as if missing the 7 day break. So basically I missed 2 pills sun and mon, but I did take them throughout the following day. On the following day, Wednesday I started to bleed and have awful cramps, the bleeding has now lasted for 7 days and its now Thursday so I've been on for a week and a day, its still heavy and still getting cramps, and I've taken a pill at the same time everyday.

Please help when will I stop bleeding, and is it normal. I've only got a week and 2 days before I should have another 7 day break, I'm worried I won't stop bleeding before then! Have I really messed my cycle up?

Yeah, starting new because sucks. I had to switch twice within the last 6 months. So not fun. But it is normal for your cycle to be pretty off for the firsst 3 months. If the cramps are sever you can talk to your doctor and they may recommend switching now. But more liekly they will recommend waiting till you've been on the pill for at least three months to see if you adjust to it and if problems continue they will very likely switch your pills.
