My 2000 Chev Malibu continually overheats and loses coolant even though it appears there is no leak. I changed the thermostat and flushed the rad... both fans are functioning. The car also floods itself with fuel and will not start... Head Gasket??

Help!

Gasket failure is possible.
Any other drivability symptoms? Excessive white smoke from the tailpipe?

The flooding is diagnosed as fuel (?) but it could be coolant settling onto the plugs and inside the cylinders.

Proper hands-on diagnosis is in order. Have the cooling system pressure tested and/or block tested.

It is going in on the weekend to be pressure tested. The oil level hasn't changed and there is no white smoke... It eventually starts but is severely flodding itself.
