I don't know what to do about the father of my daughter. I have a 5 week old baby girl and I have tried to call him 3 times to tell him she is born. He won't answer my calls or text messages. I received papers from Division of Child Support Enforcement for child support, but it asks for all of his personal information. All I know is his moms address and his full name. The kicker is that we have been friends for 9 years and I don't know anything about him. I realized that he is a compulsive liar. He told me he moved to FL, turns out he was living with his mom 10 minutes from me. I guess he moved again. My question is, is there anything I can do or what is the minimum amount of information I need for them to go after him. (people search revealed nothing either)

Did you put him on the birth certificate? If not you should if its still possible. Do not worry about a DNA test, he will need one only if he fights paternity. Tell DCS whatever you know about him. Let them try to find him.

All you have is the info you have, don't expect him to give you info to use against him in court. Just fill in what youi know and send it to them

Just tell CSEA what you can, and then let them do their job in finding him. Do you already have a support order against him that they are trying to enforce, or is this just to get one? If he is on the child's birth certificate, there shouldn't be any need for a paternity test, unless he asks for one... and then it will be his problem to get it done, not yours.

He is not on the birth certificate. This is to get an order for child support.
