I have a 97 f250 diesel. The truck won't start in cold weather unless it is plugged in. I replaced the glow plugs and it still won't start in cold weather unless it is plugged in. any advice on what the problem could be?

Very possibly the glow plug relay mounted on the passenger side by valve cover, or the glow plug modual.
