Hello - I am writing because it seems I cannot find a man that is looking for the same things that I am. I have tons of guys that are interested in me, but for one thing only. I am looking for more than that. I have run my course of "fun" in my past and am very much over that part of my life. I try to just hang out and see where things go with these guys but in the end, it's always the same outcome. I was engaged once, when I was young, and since then, 7 years, I have not had a serious committed relationship of any sort. I seem to get all the guys that only want me around when it is convenient for them and what they want, which is always much less than what I want. I feel I have lots to give to a person in a relationship once the right one comes around, but in the mean time, I'm sick of finding all the very WRONG ones... help!

What else do you do, besides hang with guys??

What I can tell you is not advice but comfort. I am a 21 year old male in EXACTLY the same situation when trying to find a woman. You are not alone and it is good to know that the world is completely overrun by shallow people. I wish you the best.

I do a lot of things. I work full time in human resources, I bartend part time, I am going back to school for my BA, I have a girls night out on Mondays (we bowl)... etc. I do lots of things... I am not out there hanging out with guys all the time trying to find the right one... it's just all the wrong ones approach me!

Keep enjoying your life, and a date is hardly marriage, but it can be fun, until the right one comes along.

I'm all about dating... but not sleeping around. That's my situation right now. No one wants to "date" they just want one thing. Not to go too much into my past but I've been there and done that part of it all and had lots of fun until it started getting old real fast.
