My computer was recently attacked by a trojan and I called out a repair guy to fix it, he installed a copied version of XP pro which of course didn`t help in the least, it got my comp back up and running but I was unable to update anything because of it.
I bought a legitimate XP Home disc and installed it, it formatted my C drive first then installed, the problem I nw have is that when my comp boots up initially it shows both OS as the XP Pro must still be there somewhere.
My comp is partitioned into 3 separate drives and Windows is on my C drive, what I want to know is if I F disc my computer (which is an option given on the XP Home disc start up)
Will it only F disc my C drive or will it do every drive and lose the games and files stored on them?
The reason I am considering this is there is obviously a conflict somewhere between the 2 OS and it is making my comp run very sluggish.
