I was just wondering if vitamins B could afftect the results of a pregnancy test because I've been taking them for a little while and my and my boyfriend have been trying to get pregnant I took a test this morning and got 2 lines in the first response I just want to make sure the vitamins didn't affect it or cause it to say pregnant before I tell my family.

I don't think they can but, I would really like to be reensured by some one who knows more about this stuff than I do

No, vitamins will not cause a false positive or a false negative. You are either pregnant or you aren't.

Positive tests are due to an increased amount of hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) that is produced by the fertilized ovum. So, if you got a positive, you are pregnant.
