I just replace the chandelier in my dining room and now the new lighting fixture makes a high pitched buzzing or humming noise when turned on. The fixture is on the same dimmer switch as the old one which did not make any noises.
Any clue what this may be?
Thanks
Joe

Does it use a different type of bulb?

That is very possible although the documentation on the new fixture indicated that standard 60w incandescent bulbs be used; which is what I am using. I'm wondering now if maybe I should try a different type of bulb.
Thoughts?

Also,
