Looking for a song that went with a toyota car commercial in the 1960's or 70's. Some of the lyrics were:

I have been wondering the very same thing about that old Toyota commercial song for years! I remember that in the commercial the car was driving along the beach right at the water's edge and was splashing in the water.

I am sorry to report that I do not yet have an answer for your question, but I am wondering if you were able to find anything out about it. If so, would you please let me know? In the meantime, I will continue to search and will let you know if I find anything.

This song was recorded back in 1971 by Copper Nickel.

Copper Nickel's "Come Run With Me" was also used for Toyota car commercials in 1972.

Thank you so much for that info on that song. I've been looking for it for so long I even went on utube trying to find it. I use to hear that song on TV when I was a little girl. I'ts so pretty and brings back such happy memories. What a happy care free time that was. 1971. I would listen to it as I did my homework. As a child. Hi, everyone. The song was a Toyota commercial and I sang it. The agency fellow who was in charge of the ad saw me singing in Vegas at the Tropicana and hired me. It was recorded at A&M Records, and while I was there, one of the Irving/Almo publishers stopped in the studio and asked if I wrote songs. I said yes, he put me with one of their best writers, Kerry Chater, and my songwriting and recording artist career at A&M was born: 'The Rain Book'. Love this song and all it opened for me!
