DSL, CABLE, 56K modem?

2 modems and 1 router? Do you have two IP addresses from your ISP?

Cable modems usually require the cable company know the MAC address of either the modem or router if operating in Bridge. You can usually clone the MAC address of the cable modem for the router when operating in bridge mode.

What I think you need is: 1 modem, 1 account from your ISP, 1 router, 1 Wireless repeater, modem set to bridge mode, PPPOE and NAT done by the router
