A horizontal froce is used to pull a 5.0 kg cart at a constactpeed of 5.0 meter per second across the floor. The force of friction between the cart and the floor is 10 newtons.

What is the magnitude of the horizontal force along the handle of the cart?

The weight of the cart?

The coefficient of the kinetic friction between cart and the floor?

use;
Net Force= mass x acceleration
10-F=5x0(because acceleration is zero for constant speed)
F=10N(newtons)

wieght will be mass x specific gravity(g)
W= 5x10
=50N(newtons)

coeff. Of friction u will be;
u x mg= 10
u x 50=10
u=0.2 ANSWER
