I have been off the depo since Sept-07. I haven't had a period at all... but what I was wondering.. I was on it for 4 years and now I might be pregnant... I will take a test tonight. But is it harder to get pregnant after being on the depo for so long? What an idiot I am... :)

Typically it takes approximately 18 months after stopping depo to become pregnant as it takes about that long to get the synthetic hormone out of your system.

Now, about the periods, missing periods is not uncommon after stopping depo either.

Lastly, the pregnancy test... it is best to take it using first morning urine rather than taking it this evening. The reason is that the concentration of hCG is in higher concentrations in the morning. During the day you drink fluids and urinate frequently, thus reducing the concentration of the pregnancy hormone.
