A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood which is probably none. Woodchucks aren't particularly tree-oriented .but if they could New York state wildlife expert Richard Thomas, found that a woodchuck chucks around 35 cubic feet of dirt digging a burrow. Thomas reasoned that if a woodchuck could chuck wood, he would chuck an amount equivalent to the weight of the dirt, or 700 pounds.

I used this same question for a trivia contest I held at my church last year - the answer, according to various trivia sources I had consulted was:
A wood chuck CAN chuck approximately 312 cords of wood!
