Thank you for reading my post! I appreciate any guidance on this problem. I installed TrendMicro virus protection and two weeks later I was reviewing my logs when I suspected an infection, so I reverted changes that were made. Upon rebooting the PC, it began to loop through the boot process. I then (like an idiot) decided to reset the BIOS to all default settings. The monitor went black however the computer (cooling fan) was still running. I killed the power and rebooted and always get the Intel Logo with two commands... POST or BIOS. My keyboard responds to neither. The keyboard is plugged into the PS/2 port.
Thanks,
Jasin

You need to reset your bois defaults
1 - During boot, enter the BIOS setup by pressing F2. (Tap F2 while starting)
2 - Press F9 to set defaults.
3 - Press F10 to Save and Exit.
If the system locks or won't boot after making BIOS settings changes, perform a BIOS recovery as described at
Desktop Boards - Instructions for Recovery BIOS Update (http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-023360.htm)
If step 1 does not get you into the bios, tap the DEL key when turning on the PC
F2 should do it, just in case the DEL is second option - Follow steps 2 and 3
Personally when you get back into your system, I would uninstall TrendMicro and try another antivirus solution

I tried F2, Delete, and Tab and none create a response. I tried every function key also. So, I will try the BIOS jumper reset tonight. I went to Abit's website (my mother board using an Intel processor) I have the socket, chipset, and board information and I will download the latest BIOS files for these associated products.
So, I just want to clearify the order that should be followed...
1. Down load appropriate BIOS files from Abit
2. Create bootable floppy disc with files
3. Unplug and dismantle chassis
4. Move BIOS jumper over one pin per Abit chart label
?? Not sure of order
5. Power on allowing BIOS recovery
6. Power down
7. Move BIOS jumper back to original location
8. Insert floppy disc in drive
9. Power on and boot from floppy
10. Set floppy to boot first in BIOS
11. Save and close, power down?
12. Power on and boot?
Please let me know if this is correct?

STOP
1. Down load appropriate BIOS files from Abit
2. Create bootable floppy disc with files
Reboot PC with floppy in drive as the PC starting with the floppy - That's it
No jumpers or removing anything

Hmm, well before I decided to re-install the BIOS, I tried resetting the BIOS jumper. This worked and I now have access into the BIOS. I double checked the settings.
I'm back to my original problem which was looping through POST, starting in the Windows logo screen, a brief blue-screen-of-death, and then looping over and over.
I assume I just need to re-install windows.
