I haven't got pregnant yet, and am starting to get worried to do you there is something wrong... people have said it takes time but I am so worried the doctor will tell me I can't have kids... also people say don't go to the doctor till after a year of trying.. I just don't understand like everyone I know gets pregnant there first couple of times... IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME?

My wife and I took six months of trying to get pregnant. 87 percent of couples it takes a year of trying.

As far as sex on a daily basis, this could be one of your problems. Sex crazy and stress from trying can actually prevent you from becoming pregnant.

When your close to ovulation having sex every other day. That's it. Relaxation is key.

Not everyone gets pregnant the first time. That is just not true.

There is nothing wrong with you, except your too stressed out trying.

It may feel frustrating, but 5 months of trying really isn't that long. The previous poster is correct, stress can be very harmful to both of your bodies. Just try to relax and let things happen naturally. Sex every other day during ovulation is adequate since it gives sperm time to build up in quantity and that is your only time of fertility.

Do you know how to recognize signs of ovulation? It isn't always "14 days after your period." That's a myth as most women vary from that schedule.

Nope it usually takes at least 6 months to a year.
