How can I hook my hard drive to dvd player with a usb connection?

If you have Windows XP, just plug the new hard drive in to the USB and Windows will see the new drive. Open "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer" and right click on the new drive and choose "Format". You can't simply drag and drop all programs to the new drive, because when you installed them, the location is in the registry. You can move your documents and graphics and many other files to the new drive. I would suggest you create folders and organize them accordingly.
If you have Windows 98 or earlier, your going to have find a driver for the USB connection. Look here:
