I recently replace the well water storage tank(the big blue thing) and water pressure decreased by almost half. How can I increase the pressure? Thanks

Our plumber seems to be off today. Did you do anything with the pressure switch, the small square box with the wires running in and out of it? Do you have a pressure gage, and is it cycling between say 30 and 60 psi? I am thinking you still have the same pressure at the tank as before, but in changing the tank, some crud broke loose and is restricting the line resulting in lower pressure and flow to the house. A good place to start may be the 4 way cross at the tank, water from the well, water to the tank, water to the house, and pressure to the switch and pressure gage. Open up the pipe and make sure it is clear. With the pipe open, you might try blowing air in a faucet to blow crud out the pipe. If so, put things back together and you should have normal pressure. If not, do exactly what Tom says when he shows up.

You installed a new bladder tank. Did you also adjust the tank pressure for your system? Do you need instructions to do it? If you have balanced your system I can show you how to increase the pressure at the control box. Cheers. Tom
