I'm a single mother and I wrote a letter to Eastern Motors on behalf of myself for a free car giveaway. Unfortunately I wasn't picked but other deserving families were which I was happy for, but what I want to know is how can I get a decent car donated to me because I cannot afford to buy one on my own?:)

Will you have the means to put fuel into it, pay for maintenance, purchase a license and insurance?

You may have to do what I did as a young, married mother. My husband used the car to get to and from work, so for grocery shopping, doctor appointments, etc. I connected with neighbors and friends and relatives who had cars, or I took public transportation.

Is there family members who can help, church groups that may help.
Can someone watch the kids more while you work a second job for a while at least till you get money for a car. But as noted, even paid for my truck costs me about 300 a month in insurance, taxes, license and gas, and this is without service on the engine when needed.
