hi guys

Any help would be much appreciated. A dear friend of my parents gave them a clock that had belonged to her great great grandma from Czechoslovakia I have tried to research the clock but can not find info... on the back of the clock mechanism is Dumoulinneut AD Paris 1531 also inscribed is x40214. Further down on the base of the clock is mourey&counne dorure No2. That's all I could find on the clock any advice would be great.

thanks heaps :)

You can edit your original question, at least for a short time, after posting it.

Are you interpreting 1531 to be a date for the manufacture of the clock? I did find a clock by a Dumoulinneuf on the following link. AD Dumoulinneuf Antique Clock (http://www.antiqueclockspriceguide.com/pages/clock8715.php) Does the clock that you have look anything like that one? If not, is your clock a figurine of any sort?
