Posting this makes me nervous and uncomfortable so please answer me in all seriousness.
My boyfriend has recently discover some kind of white Fungus(?) growing on his.. you know where that smells bitter, but comes off and also takes away layers of his skin.
We thought it was a rash at first cause it was just red but when we tried to have sex yeaterday after words it seriously felt like someone was taking a lighter and holding it inside my vagina. And it itches. I also have some kind of bump just like a sist growing on my bikini line. It gets bigger every day. I feel so gross and uncomfortable.. my boyfriend and I were both tested TOGHER as soon as we moved in together.
Anyone no what this could be?
IM going to the doctor TODAY but I'm scared to find out from them,
HELP!

I'm glad you are going to the doctor. He needs to also.

You say "fungus," could it be a yeast infection? Is he circumsized? Yeast infections are not uncommon in men who are not uncircumsized and you mention itching, that is another symptom.

You definitely need to get this "bump" checked out. Although you were tested, it does not mean that there was a dormant infection going on before you were tested.

I hope the best for you.

J_9 is completely right. (sorry J, got to spread some rep first)

It could be a yeast infection, but your doctor will let you know for sure. When you go, be careful to explain ALL of your symptoms... don't forget anything.

As J said, its good that you were tested previously. The downside is, many things can lie dormat in your body for months, even years, and go undetected until a flare up. Best of luck

Yes, and thrush is also known as a yeast infection. So don't let us confuse you ;) . They are the same.

I'm sorry... he has something wrong with his penis, and you didn't use a condom? Well... aside from THAT...

Glad you're getting checked out. Red + white fungus + skin peeling off... too many different things it could be.

You should definitely see a doctor. What you described on both of you sounds like it could be a yeast infection (with the exception of the cyst). And if it is, you both need to go to a doctor and get treatment because if not and you continue to have sex you could keep reinfecting each other.

Also, don't assume its not an STD. If left untreated, some STDs can lead to some serious long term effects (ie. Infertility) so both of you should definitely see a doctor as soon as possible and abstain from sex until you have it figured out.

Glad it was just a yeast infection! If you think there is even a small chance he may have cheated on you, get tested. If you live in the US, a lot of times the health department will offer free or reduced cost STD testing. What did they tell you about the bump? I had an ingrown hair once that sounds similar. Does it hurt? Ingrown hairs usually hurt, at least for me.
