So today is Monday December 17th, 2:30pm and I was just at court today for a charge that was given to my in November for theft under $5000.. I was caught taking money from a till at work.. this is something that is very wrong but was not thinking about when it was been done!. now I have to deal with everything that comes along with being caught doing this.. I have no idea what I'm in for.. I've never been in trouble with the police before.. and am very scared that I'm going to be sentenced to do some jail time.. I'm 18 years old.. I have a lawyer that is trying to work hard at this situation.. I was given my discloser today in court.. and they have all the evidance against me.. I think I'm screwed but then again have no idea.. is there anyone that can give me an idea what is going to come of this.. am I going to be senteced to jail at my next court date.. or what is going to come of it.. does it depend on the jugde that I get.. or what should I try and think.. I've never been in this situation before.. and am just so lost and can't believe myself... someone's help would be greatly appreicated.. thank you
I'm from barrie, Ontario

Lindsay, I hate to say this but your lawyer should be answering ALL OF THESE QUESTIONS BECAUSE YOU ARE PAYING HIM (YES I AM YELLING !). It really all depends on the judge, lindsay, you will probably be given community time which means community duty. Get on the darn lawyer's back !
