I recently asked the following question...

I am 21 years old, and I've always had a pretty irregular cycle, but for the last couple months its been 24-25 days. I just started having the following symptoms yesterday and today: nausea, lethargy, lower back aches, unable to concentrate, sore breasts, and some brown vaginal discharge. Now I'm not really trying to get pregnant, I just think what happens happens, I'm happily married and if we have a baby now OK if we have one later on OK... but my only thing is is it to soon to have symptoms, I would've only conceived on the 30th of November or the 1st of this month. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Well I am now late and still having a negative pregnancy test. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best pregnancy tests on the market? Maybe the most sensitive? Thank you.

How late are you? I would go and get a test done at the doctor's office if you are worried that the pregnancy tests might be wrong. I don't know what kind of tests are better than others, but I would like to know too. I've been late before and had similar symptoms to what you are having, and I wasn't pregnant, just had PMS and was late. It could just be your irregular cycle too. If you are taking any medications or anything you can't take while pregnant, I would ask the doctor to do a pregnancy test, just so you aren't worried. If you are pregnant, then congratulations!!

Has there been a significant change in your life? New job, new location, new friends, anything?

Have you been stressed lately, changed your diet, taking new medication? Any of these can alter your cycle. Your symptoms may relate to pregnancy, but they can also relate to you being stressed, tired, and hitting pms. Wait another week, take another pregnancy test. If concerned, see your ob gyn.
