A Case Drain Line Is a line from a pumps cavity to a low pressure storage tank.
Basically a hub drain is a round drain that is completely open, no basket strainer or drain cover. It is used to receive indirect condensate drainage. We typically use them for case condensate drainage of refrigerated cases that you see in the supermarket.
A floor drain can be found in any basement. It's a drain that usually has a built in trap.that connects to the house main and drains away any excess water.. This is the drain that will serve you best.
Hope this answers your question. Tom

I come from a different part of the country and we use different definitions. While his are correct for his area, you might ask folk in your area. We call a case drain a pipe sticking above the floor an inch or more to receive indirect wast from a refridgerated case, and a hub drain is a drain that looks exactly like a case drain but instead of being a pipe it is a fitting hub, and a floor drain is in an open area to receive spillage or splash and has a grid cover that is flush to avoid tripping.
All of these drains have a trap.
