I have a friend who was sentenced to Fedederal State Prison for 6 yrs for White Collar Crime; it was related to Loundry Money. He has a passport From Guatemala which is his place of Birth. He is currently doing his time in the U.S; Ohio State.

He did loose his Visa (Residency) of the U.S. Never became a citizen. He would like to go to Canada once he is deported to his birth of place (Guatemala).

Will he be able to travel to Canada and get a Canadian Visa being an ex Felon of the U.S. He committed crime in the U.S. He will finish serving his time in 2010.

Thanks

Hello malviso:

Canada doesn't even want felons TRAVELING in their country. So, I highly doubt whether they'd consider him for immigration. However, with a lot of money...
