Wow, this is a tough one. It all really depends on why the state took your kids away. You really need to elaborate on the situation.

However, if you did sign your rights away, it will be extremely hard to get your kids back.

I was with a man well if you can call him that. And he was very mean to me and my children and now is in prison for what he did to me and my children... and I know I well be juged for this but I did try to get away from him and just beat me more for trying leave him with my children :( :(

I'm sorry, but that's not enough. It might be enough if you were still living with that person, but since he's in jail I suspect there was much more.

It might be one thing for them to have removed the kids into foster care but for the state to terminate your rights is a drastic step.
