Im a full blown christian... I go to church 3 times a week... im a youth leader.. I am very involved.. I pray for protection.. I make sure every message I receive is loving and threw god... as I said I prtect myself daily.. so pretty much I can see mediphysical things.. and.. I feel this is a git from god.. that I need to aware the world that there is a god.. and people do go to heaven.. never once have I felt the presence of demons or darkness when I do readings... I have read in the bible that god wants us to propheside and not speak in tounges.. but recently my fellow christians have been tlking to me more saying that I'm not prayign to god about this.. and that my spirit guide is a demond.. which I have prayed on countless times.. it scares me to think.. (I have faith I'm tlking to god! Which is all I can go off.. but these people are saing I'm not) you know.. so I'm ina pickel cause one way is I have this wonderful gift threw god.. that I pray on.. and I have faith in my heart and soul that it is god I'm tlking to.. but then again I'm being questioned about it.. and its driving me nuts... and I have noticed since I bring the conversation up a lot.. that I'm openign myself up to demons.. so I pray every chance I get for protection.. but you know I can still see things like that.. (froma distance/ because god protects me).. I know I'm at a age where I shouldn't have to amediatly decide(15 years old).. but I just need to know.. . most people can't put themselves in my shoes.. so its confusing.. some friendly advise would be greatly appriciated..!. How do you know for sure that any entity that you contact is a dead relative or is from God? Also can you give us a little more information about the radio shows that you have been on. Thank you!

The Bible cautions use against communicating with dead spirits because they very well can be demonic spirits replying. Focus on studying the Bible, what some religious doctrines are and your own relationship with God more. The Bible also warns that we can end up following wrong spirits and false doctrines if we do not have a solid foundation of truth

I have checked many churches and MANY spiritual things and the one I feel closest to God with is the Assemblies of God. Check with some denominations Baptist, assemblies, Pentecostal and non denominational.
Learn from them all and you will come closer to knowing God's will as you grow in your spiritual journey.

Just because you pray for God to protect you doesn't mean it is the right thing to do---
I have made plenty of mistakes while living that frame of mind only to find out I was in
God's permissive will rather than his perfect will. Not that I am in his perfect will now but
Am striving for that direction.

And the radio shows we were on are Kbig 104.3 and Kost 103.5 but know were on klos 101.1

Normally hearing words of message from God has nothing to do with spirit guides, once you hear the word spirit guide you know it is not from God.

Also the messages we get from angels or spirits that may be from God are not chatting but have some message for the good of the church or to help someone

So what you are asking us if you are doing wrong because you can talk to the dead.
Well my personal view is that if you have that ability then it is a gift and use it wisely and not to harm anyone.
I think if you are doing wrong then there will be a whisper in your heart/head that will let you know.
Asking every Tom, or Annie will only confuse you more... everyone will have a different opinion... trust in your faith and yourself.

Let me try to understand this.
1. Your cousin and grandmother died. You and your Mom prayed to God to speak with them.
2. Six years ago a girl was murdered by your house and she came to you. You followed (it?) to it's grave 15 miles away.
3. You found body parts and reported it.
4. So, you and Mom took classes on what, talking to spirits??
5 You prayed to God to protect you from these spirits? I don't understand what they were going to do to you.
6. Next, you met your spirit guide through meditation. Forgive me but I really want to understand this. What exactly is a spirit guide, does it literally speak verbally to you, does he have a form, like a body, does everyone have one?
7. What qualifications do these "people" have to declare whether you are receiving from a good or evil source? What gives their opinion any weight?
8. Are you saying you actually see demons but they are at a distance because God is protecting you. What do demons look like. If they are at a distance, then God must be the stronger power so you have nothing to worry about.
9. Use your gift for the good.. maybe you could answer this for me. Sylvia Brown ALWAYS has an answer for 100% of the questions ask of her on the Montel Williams Show. Why can't she tell us where Natalie Holloway is and how she died and all of the other unsolved mysteries? I'm not being a smart aleck, I really want to know.

You say you are 15 years old now and that you have been doing this for 6 or 7 years now. How did you study for your powers? A medium generally is a trance medium. You are just a conduit basically through your spirit guide.

I am not doubting that you have a gift or gifts. I have several gifts. One of my gifts is psychometry (reading of objects) and am correct about 98% of the time. I didn't take any "classes" for this gift. I just have it.

Please explain more of your power to be able to contact God.

I am looking forward to seeing more of the OP's thoughts. I don't believe that other people at her church should be judging anything she does. They can not determine if she is talking to demons. I think as long as the good is being served, and it does not hurt her in her walk with God, then she is doing what is right for her. How does anyone know if God has this purpose intended for her?

If the church is being judgemental, perhaps it is time for a new church.

You can have a spirit guide that is not a demon but an angel from the Lord. I know this can happen for a fact. Now, in your case, since I do not know you, I cannot say one way or the other, but this guide you have does not necessarily mean it is a demon.

When you are visited by this guide, test him/her. Ask if Jesus came in the flesh. Read I John 4:1-6. Make sure your discernment is according to the will of the Lord.

To not grow or to progress slowly is also a choice you may make. God does not dictate which path to choose, but loves us whichever way we go. Of course you are praying to God, there is no one else to pray to. Isn't God everything?

I KNOW exactly how you feel. I am gifted as well And realized it at a young age as well... I have not read too many of the answers because I know what I want to share. 1. I was a christian minister so, I can quote every bible thing you want.. BUT -2. You are here to enlighten others.

You have this gift - Now you need to know how to control it. I can help. I can contact your mom and share via phone or meet how I was taught how to control things I see and hear and allow in. You are a wonderful bright light and so is your mom. That is why you have been trusted with this gift.

I had a similar start - when my grandmother died and all her daughters were arguing over the "Stuff" being split between them I was getting messages from Grandma to tell them where certain things were stored so that the arguing would stop.

Years later and many trials and hardships - I have been taught. I now find missing children and it is a delight.

Talking to the dead or Angels or spirit guides does NOT open a door to dark energy or demons. What does open a door to dark energy are drugs, excess alcohol, extreme emotions, abuse, and negative people.

I know this subject well because I've done many depossessions to help rid people and places of negative energy, lost souls, and even demonic energy.

As long as you are protecting yourself (and from what you wrote, you are doing a good job of it), you'll be fine. Also, trust your intuition. If some info from a spirit is negative or doesn't feel right, question it and don't trust the spirit. Ask for only guides/angels/other helpers of the LIGHT and who are of God.

Since you are probably a very sensitive person, it's a good idea for you to avoid drugs and alcohol and eat a clean diet (even excess sugar or junk food can negatively impact someone like you).

Contrary to what some say, channeling, mediumship, meditation, and other metaphysical subjects can exist quite peacefully along with religion.
