I would say it's a common house spider, but I'm no expert, go to bugsguide.com for another opinion.

Well that site don't work I see, but if it's a widow it will have the hour glass shape on it abdomen, won't be red like the black widow but yellow to orange looking.

Not an expert here. Have searched before myself for ids of black widows and brown recluse...

Can you get a better pic of the eyes? I know I used the following link before, and others like it, and the drawing of the eyes helped a lot with the determination... don't have the other links I used to cross reference...

I would go with the cobweb weaver, Steatoda triangulosa. I am basing this on the pattern on the back of its abdomen. It matches the picture I found at http://entomology.unl.edu/images/spiders/spiders1.htm
