My kitchen sink is a twin sink with one p-trap. I removed the dishwasher and replaced the one piece of drain that connects it to the sink. Ever since the drain has been very very slow(about 45 minutes to an hour to drain). I tried a snake in the sink with no luck. Should I try to snake the clean out drain on the outside of the house? Or, could it be something else?

Post some pics of the way it is hooked up... could be also that the vent is clogged

Your picture shoiws a typical kitchen sink contentious waste hook up. Nothing wrong there.If there is no gurgle in the trap when the sink's draining then I think you may have a blockage in the horizontal line inside the wall. Remove the "J" bend from the trap and send a snake up into the wall. You'll hit a elbo about 8 inches in but once you work around that you only have 6 more feet to put out. After you finished flush the line out with hot water, Good luck, Tom

Thanks for the help. No luck guess I will have to call a plumber. I ran the snake into the pipe at the wall. Went about 6 feet and when I pulled it out only small amount of hair and black gunk came out with it.

And you're quite sure it's clear from the drain to the trap?
Then the blockage's farther on downstream from the sanitary tee. You get this clog by snaking from the kitchen roof vent. Good luck, Tom

I will try from the vent on the roof. My snake is 25 feet do you think it will reach? My house is a two story.

Your snake's too short to hit the clog. Rent a sewer machine and go down the vent. Put out enough cable to reach the base and 20 feet more. Good luck, Tom
