Why is it that I can see them and hear them?I am terrified of them so why do they show themselves to me?

See what ? Explain yourself.

Its normal to be frightened, however, they have little effect on this world. Try to communicate with them. You may get some answers, you may not. Still, doing so may alleviate some of your fear, or once you express your fear, they may bother you less often. However, this is something that lasts a lifetime. If you can see them now, and hear them, it's a safe bet you always will. It is a gift. Few can do this. Trust in it.

Well. reyak, its fine agreeing with it all and I do sort of know what she means, but would like to hear more of what she sees because her explanation is far too oblique. There are different forms they take all the time. I want to know what form she sees them in. But you may have ruined that opportunity. Your post was fine just misplaced. :)

tickle,
I disagree and I think that was rather mean.
reyak is a new member who is trying to help someone who is afraid of ghosts. And I agree with reyak. There is nothing to fear but fear itself.
missy20000, you are more in control of the situation than you realise. If you don't want them around simply ask them to leave. Don't put up with anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. Ask them what they want or show them the door. The choice is yours. I swear, there is nothing to be afraid of.

Actually the person asking the question never said ghost, they said "them"
It may be elves, or flying reindeer, or pink elephants.
We do not know the persons age, mental condition or anything,
So you beelive they mean ghost, you are assuming something,
Others are wanting something to be true they are not looking rational and asking questions.

tickle,
I sincerely apologise. I went back and read it again like you said and I don't know what prompted me to reply like I did. I'm so sorry. I read some of your posts too and you are so helpful to others. Forgive me. If you wish I will not comment on any of your posts in future.

Caralyn, thanks, and don't bother yourself about it. I have made the same mistake at times not reading properly and reacting. Comment on any of my posts you like and if you disagree then no big deal because we all have our own opinions and likes and dislikes. Have a great day, friend :)

Hey! That was a really nice exchange of thoughts, understanding and compassion in the three posts above! I wish that would happen more often on this site! :)

Clough,
Thanks for noticing. And thanks to tickle for giving me another chance. I really need to stop doing all-nighters on the computer. ;)

I guess we are never going to know what the original poster sees or whatever. A lot of time spent on this one though from the look of it.
Cheers and happy holidays to Clough and Caralyn, though

I tried to spread the love to you too, tickle! But, the system wouldn't let me do so this soon after giving you the other greenie on this thread. I just wanted to say that the above is an excellent and caring answer!
