I have a brooch marked GNS and have come up short on trying to find a value range on the piece. I have found similar pieces but no prices. Any info will be appreciated. R. Swope

From what I have read George Nathanial Steer had the company from 1890 until 1930 (?)
And sold it to George Nels Shaw. There are 4 marks for the jewelry and mine was the first listed, thus I assumed mine was a Steer design.

I also, have a piece of GNS jewelry. I have searched for a value to place on it too.
Was offered $80.00 for it by one who collects them. I know that is worth much more.
Most of these pieces are in collectors collections. So, it is next to impossible to find the value of them, since they are fairly rare.

I am a collector of George Steeres pieces. I have paid between 80.00 and 200.00 for his pieces. (I only have a few) Value is really dependent upon the subject matter, condition and size.
