Is there anyway to break my lease without the huge penalty? I must move asap! They said I can move to one their other properties in 30 days and start a new lease. However the problem is this. My boyfriend, now ex, is extremely violent and dangerous. He is currently in jail for false imprisonment and battery against me while I am pregnant! The first place he will look for me is another one of their properties because he knows the policy here. If anyone knows a way for me to terminate my lease without paying a fortune please let me know...

I don't mean this wrong, but if he wants to find you, he will, check with post office on change of address notice, what ultility is in that area, where do you work, and so on.

But no there is not way to get out of it early, they are being very fair in their offer they don't have to even do that.

Get a order of protection, call police if he is stalking you.
