I need a piece of advice on this guys please...
Maybe an attorney through medical school.
I am an honest man. Fully. No lying to society. I am a felon of a violent crime in 2006 I was finally convicted and my life is a mess. I am and will not be violent. I have never served time in prison and never will. I learn from my mistakes.
I am a biology student for now. I would love nothing more with my life than to become a doctor. To help the society and make my life feel more for everything. Lol.

Will there be any chance for an ex fellon (felony 7 years past) to work the states as a doctor? I will complete my doctor school no matter what america tells me. Please I am looking at the next 6-9 years of my life in school. I need help.

Hello bio:

Check with the state medical board in the state you want to practice in.

Also, be sure to investigate if the medical boards have a policy relating to what country the crime happened in... Sometimes such policies only relate to crimes within the United States and not other countries... You have to be specific with the detail when you check with the state medical boards as to if a particular conviction would rule you out or not. Also, I think you might want to find out if you are allowed to travel overseas having such a conviction... It would be bad to become a licensed doctor, and then not be able to come to a country. In other words, you might have more than one obstacle.
