What are some examples of accounting governing bodies?
SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission),
PCAOB (Public Companies Accounting Oversight Board),
FASB (Finanical Accounting Standards Board),
GASB (government),
IASB (international),
JASB (Japanese, they have their rules like the US has its rules),
APB (Accounting Principles Board, predecessor to the FASB)
