What is the difference between cash and profit?

Cah is the money you own and have to spend in the conpany and profit is the difference between your revenues and expenses

what is the difference between cash and profit?
Cash
1. money in the form of bills or coins
2. prompt payment for goods or services in currency or by check

Profit
1. net income: the excess of revenues over outlays in a given period (including depreciation and other non-cash expenses)
2. derive a benefit from; "She profited from his vast experience"

Not exacly when referring to cash in accounting your referring in money set up in the bank and show in the books, real cash is only set up in a petty cash account.
