I have computer cd - French to go which is pretty old one. It requires vfw and I'm having win 2000.I came to know that Microsoft now doesn't support vfw.
Software is running properly. But in the module where there is video (in small window) explaining different phrases I'm NOT GETTING SOUND. Though the video is clear but it WITH OUT SOUND.please guide me

Trying to locate a windows "driver" by search the web for the CD distributor/author. Alternately, search for vfw file extensions and learn (1) what it is & (2) how to be able to execute the extension in windows.

The old VFW for video was replaced with WDM.

There is some downloads for the newer video driver, but your chipset has to be the type listed at the link. You might want to check it out, see what your chipset is.
