When trying to open up my external hard disk it won't open straight away but the window pops up with the question to chose the program you want to use to open this file? With the drop down list of all the different program names.
The same problem appears when I right click to click on open to view the files in my external drive.

Can someone please help me to solve this problem.

Does this happen if you plug the drive into a different computer?
Do you have an autorun.inf file in the root directory of the drive?
