My last period with the copper IUD was 10-29-07. I had it removed 11-06. My husband and I had unprotected sex on 11-10, which would've been a very fertile day for me. Is it possible that I could be pregnant? I took a test yesterday which showed negative.
Or is it possible that my body is just taking some time to get back to normal?

With any birth control being stopped, your body takes time to readjust.
Anything is possible - sure you could be pregnant. But, I would say that just four days after this thing was removed - the medicine would still be in your system to some level. I think it could take a couple of months.

I don't think there's medicine in the copper IUD. It is horomone free. So I may just give it a week or so and take another test. Thanks for your reply.

Well, please forgive me. I just read up on these things.
I guess I didn't understand what an IUD was (and so, probably should not have replied to this question)
Based on what I just read, you could be pregnant.
Have you missed your period yet?

Yes it is very possible to get pregnant as soon as the IUD is removed, I myself had a IUD and became pregnant with it in.
Your body shouldn't have to adjust too much as the copper IUD dose not have hormones like the mirena IUD which has a little.
Give it another week then test again.
