Hello every one help me
Really I need your help to solve this case:(
A 44‐year‐old man presents in the clinic with complains of epigastric pain.
After through workup, the patient is diagnosed with epigastric ulcer disease. He is started on a
Medication that inhibits the “proton pump” of the stomach.
Please answer the followings:
1‐ What is the “proton pump” that is referred to above?
2‐ What type of cell membrane transport would this medication is affected?
3‐ What are the other types of transport across cell membrane in gastric mucosa?

Tell me what you think and I'll tell you if you are right. I can't just give you the answers can I? You can't take me with you to finals.

Okay that what I have found
1- H+ transport: regulation and mechanism in gastric mucosa and membrane vesicles.
2- The Cl–/HCO 3 – exchange mechanism usually postulated to occur in gastric mucosa.
3- Cl– transport mechanism driven by the Na+ electrochemical potential gradient may be present on the serosal side of the tissue.
About the ques could correct that for me
