I don't want to be ugly throughout my pregnancy with half blonde, half black hair. It says it's not recommended that you dye your hair during pregnancy but there isn't any proof that it is harmful to the baby. Many women dyed their hair throughout their pregnancy and had very healthy babies!

I just don't want to keep dying it when my roots start to grow or just let my roots grow out all together, bleh. Is there any way I can get it at least brown without dying it too much? Any advise?

Some experts say that hair color is probably safe to use during pregnancy because very little of the dye is absorbed through the skin. But you should check with your doctor before using any product. If you want to make the black portion of your hair brown you will need to use some kind of hair lightening product. To be on the safe side, I recommend using a dark temporary rinse or a semi-permanent color. These type of colors are safe to use during pregnancy.
