What would you say to someone who is not
Technically savvy in order to explain how a general model of telecommunications works?

Lots of things you wanted to know, and some not, about telecommunications but were afraid to ask below. However this field is VERY extensive, from telephony to advanced WIFI. A general application model might not be easily stated, but if it were, it all started with two empty cans on opposite sides of a string.
