Using spynomore detects files and ask for registration of software is there any freeware software

1. Download and run Firefox to protect your from future spyware attacks and pop ups which are coming in through internet explorer (Trojan downloaders, win32 ) .Then update your windows through Firefox

Also install internet explorer 7 which is now free for everyone oct2007

This should stop 50% of the spyware and popups attacking your computer

2. Run the vundo and combo fix

3. Run the anti spyware remove programs spybot

To remove security toolbar you need to download smitfraud fix. It's a great tool I use everyday. Also check out ubcd 4 windows. It's a free bootcd that works wonders

go to start menu> click on control panel > click on add/remove peogram >list will appear then select the security tool bar and click on remove


This posting is over a year old, I'm pretty sure the issue's been resolved.
