My TV turns blue with thin horizontal lines whenever I turn it on and then right away it shuts off. It repeatedly does this and will not actually stay on. If anyone has a similar experience with a solution to this problem. Please HELP!!

My old one did that before it died. There was no solution. The guy at the TV repair place told me to get a new one, that was his solution. TVs are pretty cheap now-a-days. If you know where to look. How old is this TV?

That's not really that old, mine was about 12. UGH! I would call a TV repair place and have someone come out and look at it!
