All right, so I've been diagnosed with an extremely noticeable bicornuate uterus.. meaning its almost two separate uterus but is joined together at the bottom. I found out I was pregnant the exact week it happened. Amazing. I'm due 6/12/08 --they say I'm 9 weeks. The thing is I'm wondering if after I'm 12 weeks, will the chance of a miscarriage fade to almost nothing? Reason I'm asking is because somehow in my first ultra sound the baby was on the left hand side and somehow moved to the right hand side and attached themselves there. I hope there's enough room to grow. Would my stomach just branch out to the right or will my :half a uterus: stretch and become a comfortable place for my baby?. hmmmmmmmm I am confused.. please help!

The survival rate is better then 50:50, from what I have read. It seams that your baby has a better chance of survival if it has attached in a larger part of the uterus. I'm sorry to say I am not sure if the same 12 week rule applies to you. The reasons for your pregnancy loss would be different then that of most miscarriages. You need to ask your doctor the specifics in your case. I wish you luck in your pregnancy and pray that everything goes well.

It could be that only one side of will grow and the other side stay pretty much the same... in your post you said that it looked like it was on one side and then the other are you sure your not having twins?

Well I am now 18 weeks.. the baby is doing fine.. I get to find out if they are a boy or a girl.. they keep a close eye on me.. I can feel the baby on one side its kind of funny when you see a big lump on one side..
