If you go to Amazon. Com there's this great book called Organic food for Babies. They have some great recipes.

Have you checked with your baby's doctor on what foods to start? I hope you do check and make sure that you follow the recommended guidelines about introducing new foods to your baby.

I have to say Shy I would like to think at 9 months that she knew full well where to start as it should have been eating solids months ago ;)

One never knows, CBW, people do some amazing things. Some people just have no clue. One of the food rules I learned was to only introduce one new food at a time, so to watch for possible food allergies.

I'm not going to take CBW's side or Shy's as they are both right in their own way.

It is important to introduce one new food at a time starting with yellow foods, moving to orange, then to green. ALWAYS introduce vegetables before fruits, as fruits are sweet and baby will refuse veggies over sweets. Introduce one food per 3 days to a week. This way you rule out any possible allergies.

Thanks for your advices.
By the way I've been feeding my baby with veggies and fruits, rice, potatoes, juices, soups both veg and non-veg. at times I feel I'm feeding her boring food, so I want some more recipes.

Of course, me too. The only allergy he had as a baby was squash.. now he'll eat all the steamed squash you'll give him, LOL. We have no allergies, either. I swore I would not let my child be like my husband and his family (eating wise)... they will cook a different meal for each child... eat what I put on the table! Heeheeheehee

Heck, I gave my babies food at about 3 or 4 months. Whenever formula or breast did not seem to satisfy them. They are all healthy as horses.

My girl will eat ANYTHING, while my youngest is very picky.
