I cannot sign on to AIM. No matter what settings I change it won't let me sign on. It keeps showing this message: CONNECTION FAILED. Can you help me?

Wow... is that all you got? Because I'm like frantically finding a way to solve this .
It won't work for my AIm or MSN, and I just dare you to tell me to use Meebo. >.> come on there has to be a way to fix this. Its been like this for six months.
I have restarted , uninstalled and installed, CHANGE MY INTERNET. The connection is fine... well how else would I be typing this. So its not the internet. But I unno I just can't download to even update MSN. Eh. Please someone give me a good or at least a attempted reply.
