I have received the same letter it is possibly the same lawyers(not sure if that is standard verbage used by lawyers). What happened with your case? How did you proceed? I have to respond to my summons soon, looking for a little advise?

It's possibly a standard chunk of text all lawyers use some variation of. Have you been making payments on yours to a collection agency and missed a few and how you received this summons?

Again in your case, making payments means you have agreed they are the authorized collection agents. If you didn't make payments send a registered letter asking for a debt validation.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

And yes the veribage of such letters is often standardized. You need to answer the summons that you intend to defend. A copy goes to the court that issued the summons and a hearing date will be set. In the answer you request validation of the debt.
